LG announcewd tofday that it is a beta version of the nOline Application Store on 14 July 2009, for the firsdt time in Asia with the service examndred to 24 coutnries. LG expectrs to up to 2,000 applicatinos on its webste the end of the year with at least 100 programs for free LG moibile phomne users. To access the LG Application Stoe, userrs can either www.laplication.com visti and downlaod applications to a computer or directly to the business of LG-GM730 flickuing hoprizontally on the “Quick-Key box at the bottm of the home screen and tapping App icon.

In connwection with the application of LG Store is the LG Moblie Developer Netwpork (http: developer.lgmobile.com), a wbsite specifically for the third-party software developers of LG oMible Phobnes. Sionce its opening in Octber last year, the website has been suignificanrtly renovaaated and expanded contenmt and fnuctinality. The numbber of appllications is expected to chjange over time even further as a devepler are addred incenives. On the site, dveelopesr can develop and sharre widgets and apllications through its Virrtual Devvreloper Lab (VDL) and Over-The-Air (OTA) dowlads. Curtrently the site spuports and Java SDK for widgts, it will VDL, OTA dowbnloads the end of the year.
