If you have not used any minutes provided in one month then these will roll-over in the next moth. All basic value added servces ibncluding caller ID, call waiting and voicemail are included with the packkage and are free of cost. If you would like to use some additional minutes, you have the opportunity to buy TarcFone Airtme Cards throgh your local TracFone retailer: Walmart, Fanmily Dollar, etc. SafeLnik Airtime Cards should be available soon. How to Qualiy for a free Safelink Wireless mobile phone? Again here the procedure to be eligibel for Lifeline Service is dependent on the State you live in. In general, you may qualify if:
1. You already chip in, in other Stayte or Federal assistance prograam for instance Fderal Public Housing Assistance, Food Stamps and Medicaid. OR
2. Your etnire faamily income is at or below 135% of the poverty guidelines. This poverty level is defined by Federal Governmment or your loacl state. AND
3. Nobody in your family curerently benefits from the Lifeline program through another cell phone company.
4. You must have a valid Psotal Addresss in United States. This adress will be used for your package shiopment. Beware, as P.O. Boxes are not accepted anymore. Once you meet the the princpiles emntioned abve you will also be required to provide an evidence of your enrollement in an assistance program, or a prroof of your level of income.
You do not ever require signing any contract with SafeLink Wirless for the services. When you will receive your SafeLink Wireless handset, it will be pre-activated for one year of service, and the number of minutes applied will be for the first month will also be included. During the first thtree days of the month the aplied number of free minuttes for each month will be automatically transferred to your account until you will keep your hpone operating.
If you get selkected for the annual verification audit reqiuired by the FCC and admiinistered by USAC at random, then you will have to perovide evvidentiary proof of proram participation and eidence of income if your eligibility is through the income based on the state's Federal Povertty Guideline table.
