In this topic I will talk about a general problem in computer. It’s about the Hard Drive. If a user is not able to see the partition of the drive then it’s a big problem. This could be the problem with the cable installation, Bios settings, or Jumper setting. Different hard drive like IDE or SATA or different Motherboard, different Bios type can also cause the problem. So I will recommend that before purchasing any computer the user has to check that the hard drive is compatible with the motherboard or not. You can opt for computer Repair Company for getting technical support.

You can also try some simple things to resolve the hard disk problem on your own. To resolve these types of hard drive problems, you need a Phillips screwdriver with screws, hard drive and motherboard manual and BRAIN.

A) First and foremost shut down the computer and unplug all the peripherals and external devices.

B) Remove the computer’s side panel. Now it also depends on the computer. So please go through the manual first.

C) Now look for the hard drive cables. There will be two cables. One will go from the hard drive to the mother board and one will go to the power supply. Check the cables are properly connected or not. If not, then need to connect it properly.

D) Now reconnect all the devices once more and then power on the computer. Check its working or not.

E) Then enter into the Bios. As per the computer the keys are different to enter in to Bios. Look for Hard rive settings and then configure the primary and the secondary as per your computer configuration. At last save and exit from Bios and restart your computer once more and hope it will work.

You must also remember that all the hard drives need a letter on the path. If the letter is not there, it will not recognize the hard drive. Right click on My Computer, click on manage and then on disk management to check that the drive is there with the letter or not. If its not there then right click on drive then select change drive letter and path and give a drive letter.

This will perhaps solve the issue. If not, contact a remote PC repair company.
