Carpal Tunnel - Why Does My Hand Curl at Night?

One amongst the unofficial symptoms of Carpal Tunnel is waking up at the hours of darkness due to increased pain and/or numbness within the hand....and from the fingers and wrist clenching and curling forward into a claw.
This not solely annoys people, it can scare them. It is not very supposed to try to to that! Why does it do this?
The answer is pretty easy, but like all simple things it takes a little little bit of explaining.
There's a method that leads up to the hand curling while you sleep at night. It goes like this.

1. Tons of use of the hand.
2. Muscles get tighter and tighter.
3. The nervous system sets those tight muscles because the new normal. So muscles get tighter and keep tight, progressively.
4. A ton of different bad stuff happens underneath the skin that you do not notice. And continues to as time passes.
5. The body fights off these negative factors till it starts to lose.
6. You begin to feel ache, then pain.
7. You ignore it and avoid considering it as long as possible.
8. It -really- starts to hurt, and doesn't go away like it used to.
9. By currently, your muscles are REALLY tight. Constantly.
10. When you sleep at the hours of darkness, you think that your muscles relax but they don't as a result of tight is that the new normal. It's kind of such as you go to sleep at the hours of darkness holding up a 30 pound barbell.
Because your muscles are therefore tight, they're constantly pulling. Since you're asleep and not being attentive, the natural laws of physics take management, and also the muscles on the palm facet of your forearm (that are tighter than those on the alternative aspect) pull, pull, pull.
The fingers and hand curl forward as a result of the muscles are pulling them forward.
And that they constantly pull, for hours maybe. And that they get tired. And then they begin to hurt. And therefore the nervous system gets scared and will what it does best to protect you...tighten up muscles to protect you. The tightness becomes virtually a spasm. Imagine holding up that 30 pound barbell for hours. You'd get fatigued, then hurt. The identical issue happens whereas you sleep.
And because the curl and muscle contraction will compress the median nerve, you get a lot of numbness and pain.
The fingers and hand curling forward is not a neurological problem. It is not as a result of of nerve damage.
This is not one thing to be scared of. It is, but, a smart clue that there is something that you need to start dealing with. And you might as well cater to it the RIGHT way.
