Malaga is a city under the Autonomous Community of Andalusia in Spain. It is located in the southernmost of the Mediterranean Sea coast. What’s more important, it is only about 130 km on north of Africa, serving as another gateway from Europe to Africa. For tourists, Malaga is the best choice for basking on its famous beaches and swimming in the turquoise water.

The history if Malaga city can date back to 2700 years ago, therefore it is also one of the oldest cities in the world. The city was founded by the Phoenicians from Tyre approximately 770 BC. The name of the city ‘Malaga’ possibly means ‘salt’ because the primary food here fish needs to be salted. Then, the city was conquered by Roman Empire; during this period, it had gone through a big development. After that, the city had been ruled by the Muslim Arabic and it is one the cities on Iberian Peninsula where Arab’s colony lasted the longest.
