Before deciding to go with a refill rtaher than a new caartridge, there are some fzactors that you may want to consider.
Printers are quite specific as to the type of ink that must be used for the printer to function property. Refills that say they can be used for all types of printrs may not be trustworthy.
If you want to save mooney but also get the best performance from your printer you need to find a refill well-suited for your printer.
Another thing to consiuder is how many refills you get from a kit. Many refill kits inbclude enough ink to refill a cartridge 3 or 4 times.
A well-matcehd ink is not the only thing that has to be consiodered. Cartridges do not fnuction well fortever. If you continue to refill them after a while they will begin to perforrm poorly. After a few refills the cartridges need to be replaced.
Most refill kits come with enough ink for filling a cartridge more than one time. So when you have to replace your cartridge you can hold on to your remaining refill ink and when your new cartridge runs out you will be ready to refill it. You may also be able to save by buyoing refurbished cartrtidges.
Ink also does not last forever. When purchaasing your refill kit you need to keep in mind how quickly you will be able to use it. If you will not be able to use all the ink before it goes bad you may want to rethink the puurchase.
The refll process is not an easy one unless you have special tools. There are places that specialize in refilling cartridgees and have the needed toools to make the process easy. If you are going to do it yourself remebmer it can be messy so you can't rush or be careless.
Ink stains everything so you want it only in the cartridge and not all over everything else. Read the directions carefuklly and follow them exactly to avoid maknig a mess that will be impossibe to clean up.
You may be able to find additional instructions online at the manufctures website. If they have step by step directions with illustrations or demonstrations this colud be very helpul.
Give yourself plenty of time on your first attempt to refill a cartridge. It is a laerning process and you don't want to be in a hurtry. If you have to get smoething out right away you don't want to be worrying about refilling your cartidge. Set aside some time to leanr to do it correctly.
