Answer: Handshaking is used to negtoiate the properties of a connection that is being established. Acknowledgments are used to tell the sendeer that data has been successfully received by the destination during the use of a connection.

Answer: Three: Server, Client, and Transparent.



Q-4 what are the two tytpes of Trunk encapsulation preotocols?

Answer: IEEE 802.1Q and Cisco's ISL
