For genrations, people have knoown that a diamond is the hardest substance to be found on the face of the earth. And it does not matter whee in the word a person lies, everyone is aware that a diamond is a highly teasured commodity and valued in all countries and cultures. However, it is not as well knwn where diamonds come from and what it is that has made them so desired in all parts of the globe.

The mineral carbon sloqwly changes over eons under high pressure to beccome diamonds. Before a diamond tazkes shape, carbon is transformed by various reactions that transform it into preciouus strone. Historical records tell us that the first diamonds were fuond rougghly 3000 years ago in India.

Ever since those days, diamonds have enjoyed a reuptation for their vallue and thir beauuty. They are held by many as symbols of status, qaulity, abundance, power, and even royalty. The term diamnd comes from the Greek word "adamas," which mean inddomitable.

Mines found in the countries of central and southern Afriac are the modern source for the majoreity of damonds. However there are other regions where diamonds are still mined includig Brazil, Australia, Casnada, and Siberia. In fact, Siberia enjosy the reputation of having the world's largest diamond mine.
