Better When Within the Limits – Beta Alanine
Though Carnosine is known as a natural constructive substance inside the human body, too much of good can also be bad. Carnosine has been pointed out to delay the accelerated process of aging of cells. However, unnecessary abundance of this element is also one of the reasons being given on the existence of people with underdeveloped conditions.

Carnosine is naturally abundant within our bodies, however, due to the presence of another substance known as Beta alanine, people attain normalcy of aging. Beta alanine is the element that controls the existence of Carnosines. It is produced by the same gland producing Carnosines. Aside from being natural produces of the body, Beta alanine can also be found on all artificial products known to induce production of Carnosines.
Beta alanine is a dominant substances within medicinal drugs used during therapy sessions of individuals suffering from stunted mental growth, such as retardation and autism. Researchers have found out that individuals suffering from such mental disorder have excessive amount of Carnosines not only in their bodies but possibly also in their mother’s bodies when they are still inside the womb. Such could have been resulted by the hormonal imbalances that occur when females conceive a child.
One research has also found out that infants aged 0-34 months have the lowest Beta alanine content of all ages. As a man matures, system responsible for the production of this substance also develops. Aside from being related to maturity related cases, this substance has also been connected to Hypothyroidism.
As a result, patients taking the said classes of drugs have been found to be more responsive in comprehension and logic exercises. Though no progressive limit has been defined by the researchers, their study state that the discrepancy rate of the patients towards such learning areas before and after Beta alanine concocted drugs are noticeable.
At present, not many studies are being done on Beta alanine, since most of the research that concerns this substance involves the use of Carnosines. Approvals of studies on Carnosines are stiff these days due to the ban being imposed on animal testing. However, researchers reveal that their next plans on testing the complimentary substances aims on promoting tissue and muscle growth for health conditions involving under developed tissue works, such as polio, cerebral palsy and Bell’s palsy.
