Security center alert in computer verifies the security setting of users computer. Your computer could be secured via Antivirus or Firewall. If security center does not see the Antivirus or the Firewall then it will give you notification. What happens is if user is running an antivirus or the firewall which the security center does not identify then it will give you the Alert on every start up. a) Click on start>control panel> windows security center or click on run and then type WSCUI.CP. Now click on recommendations and then select I have firewall solution that I will monitor my self and click on OK. This step will help you disable the monitoring.
b) Now to disable notification from registry follow the steps.
In registry editor go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Security Center. Back up the key first. In the right pane, set antivirus disable notify and set to 0. Set firewall disable notify and set to 0. Now restart the computer.
