The first source of their income is the stocks. Though this source is only applicable to major league games, team usually has stocks that can be sold to the market. For every stock sold, sports investors tend to get a certain percentage of the sold amount, depending on the arrangement with the other co-investors.

More also money pours in when the team is performing well in games. Through such, the team is remembered and identified by the masses. From the fans would rise the need for the team’s merchandise items. This may range from simple coffee cups, shirts, and other products that include the team’s identity to sell. Registered usage of the team’s identity marks is equivalent to an amount of money as well. Percentage of this money would also precede to the sports investors’ pockets.
