Modern Way of Puffing Dragons – E-Cigarette
Cigarette smoking is a common habit among the population today. Though there are laws that targets to prevent under aged smoking, some survey respondents claim that they had their first stick of cigarette in an age as early as 10-12. Other than from being a habit, other reasons why people smoke are due to curiosity, addiction, affirmation and sometimes, even medical prescription. However, in order to protect the non-smoking citizens, some cities have come up with ordinances that restrict smoking in some places due to the effect of second hand smoke. Though this has become a dilemma at first for nicotine addicts and for those prescribed doses of nicotine intake, it was later resolved when E-Cigarettes have been invented.

E-Cigarette stands for Electronic Cigarette. This is a non-disposable device with a shape and function similar to that of an authentic cigarette. These gadgets claim to be capable of providing its users the same smoking pleasure original cigarettes give. Though its cartridge refills and the unit itself may be quite costly at first, E-Cigarettes has been classified to be way less harmful than original cigarettes, since it emits zero amount of harmful smoke.
How do E-Cigarettes work? This may vary depending on the brand and structure of the gadget. Some units have buttons that needs to be pushed in order for the device to be activated, while some are already ready to use, once the gadget has sensed an air movement within the unit, caused by the user’s puffing activity. E-Cigarettes are considered safer because of its “smokeless” feature, but giving the same dose of nicotine ordinary cigarettes posses.
The nicotine content of each stick is stored in cartridges. These cartridges are the only part within E-Cigarettes disposable. Aside from containing nicotine, some cartridges even come in various flavors, such as Spearmint, Vanilla, Berry and other fruity flavors.
However, some E-Cigarette users claim that nicotine content or the overall smoking experience using the gadget is not as satisfying as it claims, E-Cigarettes is highly recommended by therapists for those individuals who are trying to quit. Due to the “weaker” effect of this smoke, smoking quitters would have an alternative to satisfy their cravings. This shall minimize, if not prevent, the “Withdrawal Syndrome” among those people trying to quit puffing sticks as a frequent habit.
