The Role of Biology in Environment

Biology is the study of life and comprises all levels from the molecular to the global. Biology is that the study living organisms, their organization and their functions and biology could be a giant half of the way our environment evolved from simple organisms and is therefore intimately part of our environment. Biology could be a terribly broad field, covering the minute workings of chemical machines within our cells, to broad scale concepts of ecosystems and global climate change. Biologists study subjects which range from intimate details of the human brain, the composition of our genes, and even the functioning of our reproductive system to the building blocks of the only organisms on earth that created our oxygen made atmosphere capable of supporting higher life forms. While not biological processes you and I would not exist, nor the planet as we understand it.

Biological systems in contrast to physical are vastly additional complex, their perform based mostly on little numbers of units (atoms, molecules, cells) that aren't at equilibrium. There aren't any biological laws of nature the means we realize them in physics; the primary and second law of thermodynamics, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, Newton's law of gravity etc.
The supreme importance of the role of biology in environment can be seen if we have a tendency to think about biotechnology. Biotechnology, as Aldous Huxley foresaw in Brave New World (1932), can usher in as profound a revolution as industrialization did in the first 19th century. It can parallel vast different themes the growth of artificial intelligence, the gap of the inner solar system to economic use, and abundant, much more.

Biologists tolerate a level of mystery in their work that would drive your average engineer or computer programmer crazy. Biologists can see that role of biology in surroundings has shaped our very nature and being. Simply observe the human genome studies that have been done. The biologists have put along a whole rough draft of the human genome however they need very little understanding of how those forty,000 or so genes work along and interact with our environment to make a human.
Biologists, geneticists, and doctors have had restricted success in curing complex diseases like cancer, HIV, and diabetes as a result of ancient biology usually looks at only a few aspects of an organism at a time. Once more, we have a tendency to would recommend that this is due to the role of biology in surroundings which is therefore complicated that the unraveling of those interactions is only currently beginning to be discovered.
Biological processes after all are consequences of physics and chemistry, that is why we have a tendency to need biology students to study the physical sciences. But organisms are historical entities molded by their surroundings both physical and social, which’s where the complexities arise.
Artificial Biologists build artificial biological systems in a similar way, using individual parts like single genes and enzymes for that the reactivity and the product shaped are accurately known. Synthetic biology will catch up even faster when it appreciates role of biology in environment. Assembly of straightforward synthetic circuits using DNA fibers has been demonstrated.
Systems Biology is the applying of mathematical/physical modeling to understanding the functions of biological processes. It describes a multi-element approach, combining theoretical modeling with real knowledge about the interaction between genes and their products among the environment. Arising from this is often the need to interpret large datasets of advanced biological information. It seeks to integrate the data derived from the study of individual elements of cells to their performance as integral parts of cells, tissues and populations.
So, in outline we are suggesting that the role of biology in surroundings can't be ignored at any level, nor could the reverse be true. Throughout evolution setting has influenced the event of biological systems that in their turn have fed back to the atmosphere and modified the atmosphere to the one in that we tend to live today. The role of biology in setting is merely to possess made the setting in that we tend to all live our lives.
