Two types of logos are recognized. In fact, the two types are sometimes combined. The text logo is the first type. Basically, it uses a common font that states the name of the company. A Text logo usually displays the company's direct message to the people. The Symbol logo is the second type. The logo basically has series of templates and graphics which indirectly communicates the message of the company. And then there is the logo that is a combination of the two types. The logo has images and graphics and texts which symbolize the company as a whole. There are logos however that are made according to the preferences of the client.

There are many things to think about if you plan to make a business logo for you company. Will your design reflect the values of your company? What are the parts of the logo that need much of your concentration? Where will you get the concept of your design? Basically, logos should introduce your entity to the public. It should have a clear distinction from other company logos. It should come out simple. Do not over do the design as it complicates the message your company is trying to deliver. However, since you will customize it, you need to make it unique. This is the first phase in making a logo that you will customize.

The next step in this process is for you to understand by heart your company's mission and vision statements. These should be considered in making your design. It is important that the final outcome of the design will reflect your company's core values. Therefore, you need to take these steps seriously if you want to be able to come up with an effective logo design.

Once you are able to complete the two phases, move on to quality assurance. These are the finishing touches and making sure that the final product will pass everyone's judgment. Once your logo will pass that deliberation process, you now have a high quality logo design in context. The fact that your logo passed all the critical modifications, your logo can effectively convey its real meaning and presentation is just for formality's sake for the logo's acceptance. These are the stages of development that you need to undergo if you make a customized logo design.
