Sara Linton and Can Trent are the most protagonists in Undone. Fans of Slaughter's can keep in mind Linton from the Grant County Series and Can Trent from his eponymous series. However, the reader will not have to own browse either series to get pleasure from the merger. Trent and Linton return together during this story bringing 2 robust, important characters to the fore. Each has secrets that have shaped who they are and are not second rate considering their occupations as Medical Examiner and a Special Agent for the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, respectively. This could cause a well-worn story line however Slaughter ensures that it doesn't.
