Broadband internet is something that most people have and if they don't then they should seriously consider obtaining it sometime shortly. There are so many different things that can be done through the internet in today's age that it doesn't make sense not to have it somewhere in your life whether it is at work, on the go through mobile broadband, or as your primary connection in the comfort of your own home. Many tasks that have been completed in other methods are now done through the internet so it's a one stop place for everything you need.
- News. The primary source for getting any sort of news information is the internet for many people. Instead of digging through papers which twist and turn you can login to your favorite source and read everything in one spot. All the organization can be done and you can skim through articles and even search for specific ones all with a few simple clicks which saves tons of time.

- Social networking. Social networking has exploded in the past few months especially. Sites that allow you to keep track of your friends and get updates at any time are incredibly popular. Celebrities use them, your best friends use them, and even major corporations use them to spread the word about new prodcuts and promotions. They are truly what the internet is turning into so it should be embraced.
- Gaming. Games are a great form of entertainment. People play them on consoles and computers both. Games are moving from single player to the multi player which means people must have broadband internet connections in order to effectively play them without issues of a slow connection.
Dial up internet is a thing of the past that people really need to move on from because broadband is now a cost effective method of using and accessing the internet. Technology changes and with it people should as well.
