Everyone needs to remain healthy and live long life. We tend to do everything, we have a tendency to eat, we tend to sleep, however not in a very proper manner. And someday suddenly we have a tendency to complain of tiredness, headache or drowsiness. We have a tendency to consult our doctor. He initial checks the heart rate with stethoscope and blood pressure with sphygmomanometer. He says you are laid low with hypertension.
What do we perceive from hypertension?

Let's divide the word into 2 Hyper and tension. High or elevated and tension or pressure. It's always connected to the blood pressure. One beat, one pump. Whenever our heart beats, it pumps the oxygenated blood through arteries to different components of the body.

Beating of heart is a layman's term. Heart contracts and relaxes that we call a heartbeat, but in scientific term it's the systolic and diastolic pressure. Systolic pressure is formed at the top of cardiac cycle and diastolic pressure is formed at the start of the cardiac cycle. Systolic is the high pressure when heart contracts or pumps the blood in the arteries and diastolic is that the low pressure when the guts is stuffed with blood.
Normal blood pressure is one hundred twenty/80 mmHg. But in the case of hypertension it is greater than a hundred and sixty/one hundred mmHg.
What causes this pressure to extend?
Heart receives the blood through veins and pumps the blood through arteries. Arteries supply oxygen and nutrients to the cells within the body. In case of hypertension, these arteries are hardened or passage becomes narrower. Hardening is because of aging or calcification which is termed as arteriosclerosis. Lumen becomes narrower and this can be coined as arteriosclerosis as a result of of deposition of cholesterol.
Now during this case if blood flows into the arteries it creates pressure on the blood vessels. This is often what's blood pressure or hypertension.
We never return to grasp that we have a tendency to are plagued by hypertension and that is why it's a silent killer.
The exact reason for hypertension is not continuously known and so is called as essential or primary hypertension. Then there's umpteenth variety of reasons behind it like overweight, smoking, alcoholism, stress and so on.
If the cause is understood it's referred to as as secondary hypertension a well-known example of this is Cushing's syndrome. It is a hormonal disorder of cortisol that would be as a result of of glucocorticoid drugs. Yet one more example is kidney disease. If there's a cyst in kidney or inflammation in glomerulus or stenosis in renal artery then hypertension may occur.
Kidney plays major function as it is the location where salt absorption and excretion take place. Therefore on cope up with high blood pressure kidney releases salt and water, and in case of low blood pressure it retains salt and water. So the sodium, potassium balance should be maintained.
However there's nothing to worry about. Each disorder will be checked and brought under control. Like Creatinine testing is completed to test the renal dysfunction. Electrocardiogram is done to check the changes in cardiac cycle.
Currently we have a tendency to apprehend what precisely hypertension is. We have a tendency to ought to not be scared of it. Taking appropriate steps and diet regime we will undoubtedly kick hypertension off from our lives.
We perpetually begin our day praying god to stay us healthy and removed from all ailments. And why not? This is often the only life that we have a tendency to have to live to the fullest. But life isn't an simple path to run on. Generally we have a tendency to have to face agony of life.
