The name is of very little importance. Names like self-growth, education, keeping up with the Joneses in your job, financially and socially, all center on your own personal growth. It all starts with you.
If you know your situations, understand them and what they mean to you, and you're glad and content with them, then you'll be able to stop reading here. But if there is a nagging to become higher, to realize more, to achieve more for self and for your family, and to calm that inner nagging, then you would like to consider personal growth.
Is that inner nagging obscured by too many dinners, too many parties, too much time attending ball games ? On the opposite facet, does one become bored by idleness, and restless, by sitting around twiddling your thumbs while watching television ? Then personal growth may be what you need.
Thus what's personal growth ? Silly query ? Maybe. It's growing self with more knowledge, greater helpful activity, and rewarding achievements. One result is bigger self-esteem. Another is larger value to others whether it's family, employers, friends, or customers for your business.

As stated earlier, it begins with you.
1. You must think about yourself, and decide whether or not you need to grow self, and in what areas. Others can suggest areas for improvement, however it is you that has to decide which areas you may improve. And do not be fooled about ability. The brain, once you apply it, works well until the day you die.
2. The following step is to see where you can get solid material for growth in the realm you have got chosen. It might mean returning to high school for selected courses or perhaps a degree program. It may mean spending a ton of time in a very library. It could mean attending quality seminars given by skilled organizations. It can conjointly mean spending time with a recognized skilled even if you've got to shop for him dinner or take her to a ball game.
