Because of the character of my training and training programs, many of my purchasers come back to me with a very spiritual perspective on things. The promise of a non secular perspective is that you'll feel additional connected, additional loved, a lot of joyous, and feel a sense of oneness. Nevertheless, several non secular people DO NOT have an abundance of those experiences. In fact, most of the religious people I meet have pretty sucky lives. And guess what, I have been there too. Here's why.
There's a myth perpetuated by the miss understanding of ancient religious text that you must withdraw from life so as to be spiritual. The full, "Poverty is more non secular" things could be a total misconception.
Adopting a more spiritual perspective simply suggests that that you are focusing less on action and a lot of on how you experience that action. This is classically known as "The Pathway of Negation" That is great if you plan to be a monk.
Most religious people are just traditional peeps living traditional lives. Most have engaged spirituality as a approach of enhancing their experience. Being a monk is generally not an choice or perhaps a desire. Nevertheless, spiritual types often obtain into this concept of "less is additional" in an exceedingly harmful way. Lemme explain.

Most spiritual types aren't being honest about why they're religious in the primary place. Several are using spirituality as a means of reducing the quantity of negative experiences they have in life. Like a tool for fixing their broken life. They are not willing to allow all this stuff up and be a monk. Therefore here's the misfire. I recognize I've made the mistake of believing that being religious will build everything in life work out. "Just go with the flow dude!" I might think to myself. Unfortunately, the exact opposite is that the case. If you don't work on having your life work, then it won't. Regardless of how happy you're during the process. Your life will still suck.
Here's another mistake I exploit to make. I'd use my spiritual tools to take care of happiness because my life was messed up. NEWS FLASH! When your life works, you do not should use your religious tools to be happy in miserable situations. You'll be able to simply be happy and love your life. If your life does not work, then you're constantly using your religious tools to keep up happiness in situations that the majority folks would be miserable in.
If this describes you. Cut it out. Come back to in action and build your life work. Which isn't a spiritual process. That's a purposeful process. Do this and your spirituality will be a thousand times additional pleasurable as a result of you will not should use your tools to cover up your unhappiness. You'll merely be happy and then use your tools to be even happier. Okay?
