I love shoes so much, but sometimes I feel a little weird because I am a guy and sometimes there is a cultural stigma that only girls can really love shoes. I mean I have lots and lots of shoes, but I do not care, because I like to be able to have the right shoes when I go out. I like to have the right shoes for my outfits. Actually, it has become more socially acceptable for men to be crazy about shoes. I mean, you will not see guys shrieking and yelling like on Sex and the City whenever they pass through cool shoes while window shopping. But you will see more examples of guys being really smartly dressed with the right shoes in television and the movies. I mean if they are so well dressed, then it stands to reason that they also have a lot of shoes in order to match them with the right outfit, right? Just as an example, in the movie the Brazilian Job, Mos Def's character has a dream. After getting millions of dollars, his one dream is to have a large room full of his shoes. At the end of the movie, he actually achieves his goal and has a room full of beautiful shoes. That is my dream too. Do not laugh. Mos Def is a really cool guy right? So it seems like it is more okay for men to have lots of shoes. And if you like shoes as much as me, you should really check out Ecco shoes.
