I am crazy about shoes. Who says only girls get to go crazy about shoes all the time? Guys like to have a few shoes to go out in too. I started getting into shoes when I played sports in high school and needed different types of shoes for each sport. I soon learned that it is wise to invest in good shoes that will last rather than having to buy a new pair all the time from wear and tear or realizing that the shoe is not comfortable. I kind of started getting into the fashion of shoes just by being lazy. I started wearing my athletic sneakers to school so that I would not have to change out of them later on in the day when I had practice. I started realizing that these sneakers could actually look pretty cool with certain outfits sometimes. So if you want to kick it in High Top Sneakers check these ones out. The first example of some fashionable sneakers would be the retro sneakers. These look cool and are timeless. They look as good as they did back in the day as they do today. When wearing high tops, some skinny or tight jeans would look great. Keep it casual, but have an attitude with a nice leather belt and a zip up jacket. Even designer tee shirts would be good with this look. Sometimes, I like to keep the laces or the velcro loose and airy at the bottom, giving the human form a wider base at the bottom.

If you are looking for something more functional, try out the hiking shoes. I love hiking in nature trips and walking about. But for this activity you need to have good traction in case you encounter slippery footing or are climbing. You also need a lot of ankle support for rough terrain so you do not hurt yourself. Definitely break your shoes in before your first time using them too, or else you will probably get blisters. You can take your shoes in to a local outdoor life store and they will usually help you break them in.
Last, but not least are the basketball shoes. Basketball is a game with a lot of quick stops and change in directions. So it is very important that you do have a lot of support for your feet. For basketball shoes, it is most important to get something that you feel comfortable moving around in. Safety is the most important thing. But that does not mean that you cannot look great too. Basketball shoes go well with a variety of outfits. Even when you are working out, if you wear some tear off pants and a tee shirt, you can still look cool. It is sort of the NBA look. They say basketball shoes say a lot about your personality, so make it count.
