Avoid those negative situations within the workplace. Watch out for the 'dog-eat-dog' scenario where everybody else is fighting simply to get ahead. Everybody fighting for promotion. This is where non-appreciative folks typically thrive. No one will appreciate it if you're employed through your lunch hour, and stay late at the workplace for hours. You may be seen because the 'mug' who can be relied on, and more usually than not you may not solely be relied on, however place upon as well.
