How to organise a perfect ceremony

There are many elements that make a party or a ceremony successful, no matter if you are planning a wedding, a confirmation, a party for your eighteenth birthday or anything else, and all of these elements, even those which may appear insignificant and not very important, should not be left to chance. There are many things that you must deal with: choosing the location, decorations, the guest list, then music, food and entertainments for the guests.

A wedding is must probably one of the most difficult event to organise, but as for other religious ceremonies, like baptisms, first communions and confirmations, there seem to be less difficulties, as in those occasions people very often decide to celebrate with a simple lunch at the restaurant. However, we are dealing with very important events in the life of a person and of his/her nearest and dearest, events that you want your guests to remember. This is why even in such cases booking a table at the restaurant is not enough, you also need to think about all those little details that can make an event unforgettable. Favors, for example, are not only fit for weddings, but also for all other ceremonies. Silver favors are still the most appreciated, also because you can find silver favors of all types and to suit every pocket: classic or original, of different sizes and shapes, and fit for all types of ceremony. For baptisms you can buy little angels or other items that recall the world of babies, while for the first communion one of the most appreciated favors is a silver frame containing the picture of the child. As far as confirmation favors is concerned, you can buy items inspired by the religious sphere, like little statues of Saint Mary, which might be realised not only in silver but also with other materials, or candles: in specialised shops you can find a wide range of candles of different colours and, sometimes, scented candles.

The choice of favors is not the only detail that you need to consider if you want to make your ceremony special, and even when you plan a bare lunch at the restaurant, thus you do not need to choose and decorate the location, as you usually do for other types of parties, still there are some tasks that cannot be left out. The choice of the restaurant itself is very important: it is always better to be sure that the room and the kitchen are to your satisfaction, perhaps sussing them out before you book; go and have a lunch in the restaurant that you would like to choose, to check the quality of the service and food: in this way you and your guests are not going to have unpleasant surprises. Once you choose the restaurant, although you do not have to think about room decorations, still you can find some ways to personalize and embellish the tables: for example, you can satisfy your fancy choosing an original placeholder, just as you usually do with wedding placeholders. It is no doubt a very small detail, but you should consider that this detail will stand opposite the guests throughout the lunch. If you choose an original placeholder taking inspiration from the kind of event you are celebrating, you will be able to decorate tables without much effort and high costs.
