Ever experienced being in a wonderful relationship and then watch your man slowly detach himself from you saying that he is not yet ready to go further and then catch him dating someone else?
“I am not ready to seriously commit” or “I need time to know myself” are just few of the lines men use but they all mean one thing – what they say and what they do are totally different. Understandably, this frustrates women who are in the dating scene.

Confusing might the right word to probably describe the feeling. How can it be possible for men to say one thing and do another? Are they really that scared of the word commitment? Do they even know what they really want?
In reality, men and women are differently wired. They may hear the same line but both will think differently. When a man says that he wants to stay home and relax, he means he will watch his favorite sports channel while drinking beer and eating pizza. A woman on the other hand would check her things to do list and paint her nails while talking to their girl friends.
If this is the case, then what does he mean when he says that he is not prepared to commit into a relationship?
What he could be saying is that he is still looking for that mature woman who knows what she wants and at the same time fun to be with. For short, you do not live up to his expectations and he can’t wait for you to grow up to be the woman that he wants to be with.
Sad to say but at this point, you are not the kind of woman that he wants.
He simply can’t tell that he wants his woman to posses the qualities that he wants even before he comes into the picture. He’s not patient enough to wait as he teaches you to become the woman of his dream.
Simply put, if you are currently in need of a pilot, would you hire somebody who is willing to be a pilot but needs to first undergo training to learn how to fly? You would want to hire a certified pilot who knows what he is already doing, right?
Same is true with men worth having. They are on the look out for women who can enhance their life by making it more enjoyable and fun. They are setting their sights on that cool woman who needs no tutoring from him on how to live a fun and exciting life.
You could be that “It” girl who knows how to please her man.
Remember that a man can easily fall for a woman that can emotionally connect with him aside from being attracted physically. A relationship based on physical attraction alone wanes as time goes by but a relationship whose foundation is built on deep emotional commitment lasts. It is not all about sex and physical beauty all the time.
If you want to keep him, leave behind the bad qualities and nurture the good ones. By doing so, so you are making yourself attractive to men who are worth keeping.
