Electric cigarettes are basically some ‘smoking’ devices that are specially designed and developed to vaporize nicotine without the use of fire. This means that, when you use them, there will be no smoke. If there is no smoke, it is legal to use them everywhere; including non smoking areas. The only thing they produce is a mix vapor. But the biggest advantage of electric cigarettes is obviously the absence of fire and smoke. A considerable disadvantage would be the batteries. The nicotine is deposited in a cartridge inside the electronic cigarettes. Each cartridge is equivalent to about two packages of traditional cigarettes but its lifetime will ultimately depend on the user. The more it is used, the fewer flavors it will give. The levels of nicotine also vary like they do for traditional smoking devices: 4, 6 or 8 mg. For some electric cigarettes the level of nicotine can even be 0 mg. This is another aspect that makes them useful tool for those who want to quit smoking before quitting the habit.

Some electric cigarettes are reusable containing replaceable or refillable parts. These are more common but there are also disposable electric cigarettes which are developed only for single use.
A lot of mystery still surrounds electric cigarettes if we think that in some countries they are illegal while in others they are considered a medical product. The problem is still disputed but electric cigarettes are definitely no more dangerous than traditional smoking devices.
