As technology is changing everything seems to change. The advent of mobile phones revolutionalized the communication industry and other constituent ways of communication emerged. The ways are easier, faster and cheaper. One of the ways was and is message texting. This paper will discuss the benefits and drawbacks or setbacks of message texting in the world today.
Text Messaging
Text messaging has come all the way with its technologies and a new sot of language. Language is the more intriguing one as many people have come up with new shortened acronyms. Some acronyms are hard to understand and others are for convenient. They are for convenient because they are shortened in a way to fit the phone screen. People who are good at shorthand are enjoying writing the text messages. Many people have preferred using text messages to talking. This method then seems to have saved the sin of shy people who can not or who do not feel comfortable talking face to face. This might be the reason why many young people are enjoying the texting. Every day thousands of messages are sent and interesting by young people. However, many of these messages have caused fights in families. This is true because a husband or a wife may be having an affair outside and one day a message is sent and the recipient forgot to delete, then it will be found because some couples like skimming through the message of the other. There have been fights. With experience short messages have a deeper and emotional impact in some people hence they prefer to send them or be sent. Moreover, test messaging has indeed pushed lovers of text messages to invent various interesting and elaborative emoticons.

essaging has its advantages and disadvantages even though it seems to be the hottest mode of communication these days. Advantages are like communication can be done in a meeting for example a member of the audience can send a message to the guest speaker or the MC (master of ceremony) to remind him/her of an issue or rectify an anomaly right as the meeting is on without interruption. Text messaging technology is more efficient than semaphore and many people have agreed that it is quick to send a message than make call. Even though text messages have taken the communications world by a whirl wind, they have become disastrous at a time. For instance, many of the road accidents, deaths and injuries may be caused or have been caused by a mobile phone relating incidents either replying or reading a text message. Some languages in the world have long characters and id a setback for many text messaging enthusiasts but some have managed devise acronyms and shortened the characters.
