Do you know how many women want to have a self-defense gadget with them?
I never thought about it, carried nothing of the sort and supposed that everyone was like me.
Since I started my new job in a company selling pepper sprays and stunguns my view of this world drastically changed.
I realized that a great number of women are really concerned about their safety and safety of their children when the kids are with them. These women usually carry pepper sprays and mace. The defensive sprays can be used as deterrents to prevent aggression and could be a powerful weapon to ward off an attack if it occurs.

Up until 2006-2007 all pepper sprays were pretty much the same. Then in 2007 Kimber introduced totally new concept of a Pepper Blaster: a device that shoots two blobs of pepper gel with speed of 90 mph to the distance of 13 feet. An act of self-defense stopped being hand-to-hand combat because, due to its wider range, Pepper Blaster created a sizeable safety zone around you.
In 2010 a new model of Pepper Blaster II was introduced to the US, the new generation of the same popular self-defense device. Inside it is the same mechanism and the same innovative technology that powers up the original pepper blaster. On the outside, it's all different: the shape of the device is more ergonomic (i.e. thought through): it is shaped like a handgun, so it has a small handle and it has sights. This change of design makes your grip better and your aiming easier.
When you hold Pepper Blaster II in your hand and point toward the attacker, it is much easier to keep both barrels aligned vertically, so both shots will be fired in the same direction. The bright red body color and the pistol-like shape of Pepper Blaster II warn that the person holding it means business. The psychological effect is much stronger than that of the original Pepper Blaster.
The only part that might use improvement is the name
"Pepper Blaster" is a superb brand name but the Roman numeral at the end is very confusing. It's hard to understand what characters were used to convey the simple notion that it is the 2nd model. Most people call and write about it as "II", but some as "Pepper Blaster 2", some think it's number "11" (Pepper Blaster 11) or even 'll' (el-el).
We think that a digit "2" would've been a much clearer choice, like "Pepper Blaster 2".
