If you are taking the services of full service movers, it would be a bit expensive compared to the other types. The cheapest way of moving would be hiring trucks and the self service type would cost average rates.

Even though such things happen only rarely, it is important to know about them. Most of the moving companies have a reputation however it is the duty of any customer to understand about them before hiring. Make sure that you investigate about the company through agencies like Better Business Bureau to find out if any complaints have been lodged against it.
After doing proper researches, you can shortlist some companies and ask for quotes from each. Compare the quotes along with the services they offer. Make a final choice based on your needs and see if the company is able to provide it.
