New business phone systems for ease of contact

When you are setting up a business, ease of contact with potential customers is a primary concern; you want to be visible on the web and easily reachable by email. This means having a well thought out web address, easily navigable website with a clear ‘contact us’ section and a short and easy to spell email address.

However, another important consideration that often receives less attention is the telephone contact. Often sales can be generated or repeat business encouraged by having a telephone number that is easily remembered. If your business is sales based and perhaps even has a call centre, particularly if you have a UK wide customer base, it can look more professional for you to have an 0845 or 0800 dialling code rather than a local area code.

If you lack technological expertise within your new company, it can often be difficult knowing where to go to set up such a phone number. A third party consultancy can provide this advice at a fraction of the cost of employing a full-time member of staff, whilst they can also assist with the maintenance of your internet connection or phone line.

As well as developing your landline telephone system, many third party IT businesses can give you advice on bespoke mobile communication systems for businesses to reduce your tariffs or offer the best technology to access your emails and conduct transactions remotely.

Using a consultancy doesn’t have to be a faceless exercise either, as you can employ a local firm that is able to offer on-site problem shooting in the event of an emergency. For instance, here at Splitsec we are a company based in Yorkshire that is able to offer IT support in Leeds and Wakefield, IT support in Huddersfield and other key towns and cities in the area.
