Musicians’ accessories

For professional musicians musical exercise and the maintenance of the musical instruments are a daily task; while exercise includes arpeggios, wrong notes and improvements, the maintenance includes the cleaning of the instrument, buying its latest accessories and buying new instruments as well, more and more prestigious: guitarists, for example, usually have more than one guitar, and each of them id more suitable for a specific kind of music, and for each guitar they have particular effects and amplifications; drummers, on their side, will have different kinds of drums and various types of drumsticks to give to each music piece the right touch, and so on: for all the musical instruments there are specific accessories that give the chance to the musicians to widen the range of their effects, hence completing their instruments.

The most common and renowned strings are guitars and bass guitars, protagonists, together with the voice, in most contemporary songs. The principal division is among acoustic and electric ones, but there are a series of subdivisions and middle-ways, like the semi-acoustic guitars, that, unlike electric ones, have a sound-box, even though it’s smaller than the traditional acoustic guitars’ one, but they are amplified.

Among the acoustic guitars the most renowned are the classical and folk ones; the latter can be distinguished because of its sound-box, slightly bigger than the classical guitars’ one, and because of the strings, all metallic, while in the classical guitars the three bass strings are in metal and the three higher ones are made in nylon. To start playing the guitar you usually start with a classical one: it’s a bit handier than the folk guitar, and the nylon strings allow your fingers to inhabit a bit more gently to press the chords; moreover, there are many “study” classical guitars, to gain confidence with the instrument without a great expense.

The electric guitars must obviously be equipped with an amplifier, or maybe with a pair of headphones – a good solution especially if you live in a flat, strongly suggested by the neighbours. As far as the bass guitars are concerned, the two big families are the same: acoustic and electric, with an additional choice for the number of the strings, that goes from four to six.

All this can be easily found in many specialized shops, and now even in the net: online shops have a wide range of musical instruments, divided in categories and sometimes including even the category of the used instruments. The thing is very simple: after having found a comfortable position in front of the computer, you enter the site, choose the category, the instrument and, in the end, the method of payment, that can be directly online with a credit card or even in cash on delivery, money order, and more. And the instrument you chose will arrive directly at home, ready for all the music you’ll be able to play.
