The perfect marriage (or at least the perfect wedding!)

The wedding day, for those who still believe in marriage, and who want to seal a relationship or a cohabitation in a clear way, is still considered as an important event, a fundamental step in the couple’s life; in many other cases it is seen more like a great chance to celebrate, have fun and be the absolute stars for one day. No matter if the couple split up after few years, and if they want to do a church wedding even if they have never entered a church except for freshening up during a hot summer day: in any case all the details of the wedding must be perfect, and the wedding day must be a great party that is to go down in history, an event to be remembered forever, even though the marriage itself is not going to last for eternity. This is why in order to plan the perfect wedding people do not spare any expense, although due to the crisis we are going through couples try to reduce costs wherever it is possible, for example sparing on the costs of the presents for the guests or on the video, or they decide to put off till the following year, hoping in better times to come.
However, the couples that get married nowadays certainly have less time than the couples of the past to organize everything thoroughly, and the duties that in the past were left to the bride (under the supervision of her mummy), while the groom-to-be was at work, now that both the halves are busy with work and other engagements, have to be delegated to somebody else, namely to an event organizer or to a wedding planner. The wedding planner is a very widespread profession in the States, and it is catching on in Italy too: although in Italy there is not a professional register of wedding planners yet, the agencies that deal with the planning of wedding parties and receptions are more and more widespread all over the country (there are also some courses conceived to train people who want to take up this new profession), and more and more couples decide to delegate to an expert to be sure that on the most beautiful day of their life everything is perfect.

Turning to an agency specialised in events organisation, and in wedding planning in particular, means delegating everything about the setting up of a wedding, from the flowers in the church to the wedding cake, from the location choice to the haggling with the photographer, from the entertainment for the guests during the reception to the choice of the gifts for the guests. Certainly not even the most expert wedding planners can assure you that your marriage is going to last, but bride and groom will be sure that, at least on their wedding day, there will be neither hitches nor nasty surprises!
