This can be done pretty easily without any huge expense by following any one of the following steps. There are several options available for playing mp3 in your car. You can choose from any one of the following options depending on the amount of money you have decided to spend on this issue.

The first option is to burn the songs from your mp3 to a compact disk. A CD is usually priced around $1 per piece. After buying the CD from a local music or electronics store, insert it into a computer which is capable of burning CD`s. Connect your iPod or mp3 player to the computer using a USB cable. Now click on the iTunes icon on your computer and access the songs on your player from your computer. If you do not have the iTunes software installed on your computer then download and install it before connecting your mp3 to the computer.

Now select the songs you want to burn to the CD by clicking on them. Name your playlist and click on the “burn disk” icon. Now you can use this CD fir listening to your favorite tracks in your car.

The next option is to use an FM transmitter to play your mp3 in car. These FM transmitters use radio signals to play the songs in your mp3. Connect the FM transmitter to your mp3 player. If the transmitter is not wireless then it must be connected to your car’s cigarette lighter. After making this connection, tune your transmitter and your car radio to the signal. Make sure that the signal is not used by any radio stations and it is empty. You can now use your mp3 as you would do with headphones. A transmitter usually costs around $35 to $100.

Using a cassette tape adapter is an inexpensive technique that one can follow. An adapter usually costs around $10. The adapter will have two ends. Plug the cassette end of the adapter into the car’s cassette player and connect the other end to the mp3 player.

Now if you want to play the tracks from your mp3 simply press the ‘play’ button on the mp3 player. You will find that the songs will be played through the car’s speakers. You can use your mp3 player for controlling the tracks played.

The final option is to buy an mp3 compatible stereo system and installing it on your car. These types of stereo players are a little expensive. It is important to find out whether this type of stereo player is compatible with the model of your car. This can be verified by checking the car owner’s manual and also by consulting with your car dealer or mechanic. These types of stereos have an aux output through which the mp3 player can be connected directly.

Follow these simple steps on how to play an mp3 in your car and to listen to all the songs that you love.
