As a writer, your main goal is to convey your message to the reader in a clearer manner as much as possible. How you achieve that, of course, comprises the bulk of the work that you need to undertake.
Writing is not that easy, same goes as writing clearly. It may sound simple and effortless but writing a clear and concise content takes a lot of time and strategy to make it a better and effective content to read on. Since writing clearly and writing concisely goes hand and hand, both of these things are simultaneously challenging.

You have to bear in mind that people nowadays are always bombarded with lots of information about the current and the must know issues and topics. Therefore, your chance of stealing their interest can be at a minimal state. That is why, even if clear and concise writing can be a tough thing to do, you need to convey your message and writings effectively with the help of these techniques.
Most readers look to a certain information that is direct and short. Longer writings are not that necessary at all. As much as possible, you have to make sure that your all of your writings are readable and so that anyone can understand it well just within an instant. As a matter of fact, all readers won’t stay long in ready the whole passage just to look for the right information they needed. With just seconds, they will skip it out and look for another content to read on.
While there are probably hundreds, if not thousands, of books written on the subject of clear writing, the core concept behind it hasn’t changed. For the most part, expressing yourself clearly in text has more to do with what you decide to leave out than what you endeavor to put in.
The easier time your reader enjoys while poring over your piece, the more effectively you’ve been able to fashion it. As engaging as clever metaphors, witty remarks and insightful one liners may be, the real yardstick for measuring how good a piece has been written is to see if the reader understood it. That clarity is what you should be working for, instead of trying to come up with the most brilliant decorations to hang around your copy.
When you are uncertain about how a particular statement will be perceived, suffice to say that it’s probably a confusing sentence that’s waiting to happen. Run it through a writing software and see if any suggestions to fix it come up.
If it still feels suspect after doing that, try to find the particular source of confusion (an obscure reference, a vague subject, poor word choice, etc) and fix it. Make sure you go through your work, reviewing each part for clarity, before turning it in – you owe your readers as much.
Anyone can write. To write stuff that is communicated clearly requires serious work that involves cutting out clutter to drill into the essence of your message.
