What’s good in humor writing? It’s true that most people out there cling on to humor and apply it within their writing context such as novels or stories, articles, essays, speech and other forms writing especially the informal ones. Humor writing helps both characters of the writer and of the readers just because they can cope up with the writing’s flow and how it greatly affects their moods towards the subject.
This is possible if the writer knows how to create a funny image or situation in their reader’s mind that can make them giggle with the thought, chuckles or smile. With the proper way of using the right words which help you twist up situations or dialogues, you’ll succeed in making your readers laugh, tickle or please them while reading your text.
Now, what’s the secret on writing with humor in your text? You don’t have to be personally funny and born with that kind of talent just to make your readers laugh. What matters is that you can surpass the pressures in writing and knows how to edit certain changes as well. Yes, writing with humor can be a tough thing to do and not all the time that you can write all possible lines to make your readers smile or giggles.

Even in your first draft, there are a lot of writing mistakes that you had encountered. Same goes when you don’t have any words to write on. Editing will assists you with that matter. A writer can only depend on the words that he is going to include in his passage and therefore, you have the freedom to choose any words with care and which the line can provide maximum impact to your audience.
Unless you’re specifically working on a lighthearted piece, adding humor into your writing may not always be appropriate. If you do identify instances where it makes sense to infuse the copy with situations and speech that carry some amount of indulgent wit, the following should offer a workable list of potential writing instruments you could employ.
Self deprecation. The danger of using humor is that it can offend just as much as it can amuse. When you’re writing in the first person, self deprecation is the safest way to add humor without running the risk of sending anyone in an outrage.
Use funny words. Some words, when employed in a specific context, are just funny, in and of themselves. Use the thesaurus and dictionary features in your English writing software to find alternate words that you can add in that may bring a bit more lightheartedness to the piece.
Humor is in the details. Add humor during portions of the text that talk about details and specific information. While generalities can also be fodder for humor, it’s usually more effective to make fun of things that you put under a microscope.
Use punctuations, white space and other grammar structures to enforce comedic timing.You can adjust the pace of you text, force pauses and create an element of surprise by employing numerous elements of language. Take full advantage of them whenever you can.
