Your wardrobe must look great, not only on the outside, but inside too. Sure, you can have one with the latest doors, handles, knobs, patterns and textures, but it also has to be neat, organized and compartmentalized on the inside. The more stuff you have to put in, the more chances are that maintaining a straightened out and uncluttered wardrobe, will be a herculean task for you. To make things easier and more manageable for you, pre planning on the wardrobe fixtures would be a great idea.
Though essentially all wardrobes are designed to give you lots of space to store your stuff, it is important to know what to look for so you have maximum space and convenience, and minimum effort when you’re looking for something, especially in a hurry. Here are some great quick fix ideas about wardrobe fixtures, so you don’t have to empty out your entire wardrobe, every time you’re looking for that one pair of socks, or the dress you got last summer.

Racks
We all have those nice, expensive clothes that we need to keep well ironed all the time. They have to be handled with care, and cannot be dumped just about anywhere in your wardrobe. Hangers and racks are ideal for such clothes. These can be the regular fixed sorts, or the pull out variety, so you don’t have to struggle to reach your clothes. Trouser rails are also a good idea, so your pants, jeans, and other such stuff can be conveniently stored together in one place. When installing the rack or rail for your hanger, make sure it is at the right height. Neither too high so you don’t have to stretch and reach out, nor too low so that your clothes get messed up.
Drawers
Drawers work best with smaller items of clothing and accessories. Your socks, jewellery, lingerie, towels, and other such stuff can be neatly tucked up in different drawers. Instead of having one single big drawer, have multiple smaller drawers for different kinds of things to reduce clutter. See through drawers work very well, if you can never remember what is kept where. For shoes, it is best to have a single long drawer, right at the bottom of the wardrobe, so you can just open the drawer and step into neatly arranged shoes.
Shelves
Like drawers, shelves also help you get more organized by giving you the convenience of neat compartments. Instead of a big single shelf, having it compartmentalized with shelves makes it easier to store different kinds of clothes in neat piles on every shelf. You can assign a shelf each to your tees, casual dresses, nightwear, gym clothes, etc. However, make sure that each shelf is big enough to hold the clothes you intend to keep. The shelf for your nightclothes, for instance, can be smaller than that for your tees and other casual clothes.
Lighting
If you have a large spacious cupboard, getting lights, like small dim bulbs comes very handy. Your clothes look best when illuminated by a soft light, and also it is easier to organize and clean up.
Installing these fixtures in the right places in your wardrobe ensures that not only will you save time while dressing up, but even cleaning and organizing will not be as much trouble.
