Why Do I Need a Cell Phone?

At this point in time if you do not own cell phone in this world, chances are that you are living under a rock. So it is rather unlikely that you don’t have the Internet either and as a result will never read this informative article. However, in the event that your little rock has Internet access it is essential that you take a moment to understand just why it is that the cellular industry is so popular and explore why you need a cell phone (even a used cell phone) of your own.

Cell phones started out as something that only the rich and important had or even needed. The entire world was good with the notion of using home phones and standing out in the rain at payphones to get in touch with people when they needed to. Something else to consider here is that at one point in time the world was ok with the idea of writing a letter with pencil and paper and mailing it to a friend (then waiting about a week for them to get it long after the information was old news).

Over the last decade, cell phones have become an absolute necessity in live for people of all ages, races, religions, creeds, colors and so on. When cell phones first went public, it was an adult use item that was not even allowed in schools or many public places where younger people were assembled. I can even remember a time where they told us that cellular pagers (remember those?) were for drug dealers. How the industry has changed now.

Now you need a phone, so do your kids, co workers, friends, neighbors, and everyone else you know. Things happen so fast and change just as fast. We are in a world where time is of the essence. It is for this reason that we all need to have cell phones (save a few bucks, buy a refurbished phone). What if you are on the way to work and your car breaks down along the Interstate? Who s gonna stop in today s world, take you to a payphone and take you back to your car while they are on their way to work? What if you are away from home and the kid gets sick at school or has to stay after school for practice? How would they be able to reach you for help?

The bottom line here is that in order to stay safe and on track with your own life, it is highly recommended that you leave your rock and rush to your local retailer to pick up a used phone. Sign up with a prepaid plan if you don’t think you will need the phone all that much. The time will come that you are grateful for joining the revolution and purchasing your very own cell phone. Now that you have read this message, that time to be sooner than you think!
