Every now and then our house needs help in the way of getting your things put away. This is a daunting task for just one person to handle by themselves. You might want to find someone to help you. I am going to show you what to look for in an organizing & decluttering service. You will begin with an extensive interview with the organizer, and go from there.
It is a good idea to choose a few organizers to interview. Some of the more important questions to ask would be, what are their policies, do they give free estimates after they visit your house, and lastly are the a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers. After going through the interviews that is the time to compare the different services and prices of each organizer and choose the one that best fits your needs.

Once you choose your organizer then they will come in and make a list of everything that you want done. Together you will make a plan of attack. If you have a limited budget, then discuss that with your hired help, and choose the most important tasks that need to be done with the money that you have.
As the home owner you will be helping your professional organizer with each task needing to be done. After each space is organized it will be up to you and other family members to put the things back where they go. Organizing your home will make you have a whole new attitude about living in what seems like a new home. It is amazing what a little decluttering can do for you emotionally.

They do not clean the house instead they find ways of placing your items together in such a way that they are convenient to access. Your professional organizer will teach you how to organize your things so that you will be able to do this yourself in other rooms of your house. Realize though that it will not happen over night. This will take time and you must not let it overwhelm you. Take baby steps and do a little bit at a time and eventually your room will be done. Just take a deep breath and start with a good attitude because you can do this.
Get your children involved in putting their things away in their bedrooms. Make it a game and let it be a fun thing that you and the children share. Teaching the children how to pick up after themselves at a young age will mean less work for you as a mom. And. You are setting a great example for them. These lessons they will use for the rest of their lives.
We have barely scratched the surface in the world of professional organizers. But with the knowledge you have you can start that search for the best person to hire for the job. When you find someone that you feel comfortable with then start asking the pertinent questions. Decide what your budget is and choose the rooms that bother you the most and make those your first priority.
