Honda motors is a leading manufacturer of car and other automobile and other parts required for an automobile. One of the most popular products of this Honda Motors is Honda CRV. It belongs to the SUV category of cars. Speakers and factory radios are all coming along with the car in a fully equipped way. Few people will be more interested in their car and the parts in it. Some music lovers also would be interested in building in their own system of audio or they generally go on for replacement of the existing ones with the ones of their choice which has a better performance than others. The very first thing one should do for this is removal of the factory model. But how to remove a Honda CR – V radio?

There are few tools required for accomplishment of this task. The usage of such tools will reduce the man power required and makes it easy to complete the task. It may include a panel tool and a Philips Screw driver.

Any kind of media inside the radio which may be a CD or tape should be taken out first. Then the vehicle is turned off. When one work on the radio there is possibility of electric shocks. Safety comes first in any operation while working. So the negative cable to the battery is disconnected. This will bring down the possibility of electric shock to a greater extent.

In the middle of the dash of the car there exists few screws of Philips near the vent. These screws are to be located first. This dash lies underneath the radio. So it can be easily located. Using the Philips screw driver remove all the Philips screws present in it.

The trim panel s edges are pried around it. It stays around the radio and the panel is also present in it. The clips are all released at once and then the trim panel is pulled off and it is kept aside until the process gets over to avoid unnecessary problems.

There is radio face for radio and then near this there are lot of Philips screws almost four which holds the radio in firmly. These screws are very essential because they give the required security to the speaker and radio. Lose fittings may lead to any kind of hazard in it.

The dash lies underneath the radio. From there it is removed safely. And then the plugs are all removed and finally the radio is successfully taken out. Since a car stereo is such an important part of the car, the connections must be made properly in order to have a good quality in the sound. There are many wiring and connections through connectors involved. . So all these wires are also removed carefully.

For enjoying better music and having a better audio system one must know how to remove a Honda CR – V radio, which will help us enjoy all the long road drives with great pleasure.
