Using the DIN tools slide them on to that slots then push the DIN tools simultaneously and try to get a hold on the radio then one wont feel that hard to remove the Kenwood stereo from the car. Usually DIN tools are provided along with the radio that one buys .So he should have probably got it in case of not having a DIN tool one can check out in any electronics store room.

Finally should be very careful when one take the stereo out. He should remove them slowly and carefully. Now one can notice many wires there on the back side of the stereo you need to unplug them before taking the stereo out fully there are some coloured coded wires too which one might to have removed.
