Before getting into the job first the amplifier kit should be run. It is made to run by connecting it to the battery s positive terminal. This step is done easily. They can be made to run through the carpet , by the side of seats and then to the car trunk. This is the power wire. Another wire called remote wire also should be connected to the car trunk. Run it in the same manner as the [power wire and reach the car trunk. The fuse of car lighter or even the car stereo can be used for this connection because as we turn on the car key the amplifier gets switched on.
Next step is the most important one. It is the installation of line out converter. It is also called as LOC. Locate the factory speakers. This is found inside the car trunk. Many wires are connected to the speakers . Now with cutting pliers disconnect one of these wires. However ensure that there is provision for reconnection of this wire. The line out converter is now fixed to the wiring . Next step is reconnection to that speaker (6x9) .
The line out converter is successfully installed . We now need to understand what is the function of this. This LOC eliminates the need for replacement of head unit of factory as it enables the connection of RCA cables with our amplifier. For safety purposes grounding should be done. So locate a bolt made of metal. Connection is made between ground wire of the amplifier and metal bolt.
After all connections are made its time to enjoy the sound. People who are deeply passionate about music and powerful sound should make a check of local noise laws for permitted sound level. Another useful tip may be don t make an attempt to play such loud music before police to show off our new sub woofer installation as we may end up paying fine.
