Black vests are a hot item in men's wear. From the puffer vest to a tuxedo vest, black vests are a great fashion item that is taking men's fashion by storm. I know many men don't really think about wearing vests, but trust me, it can really make an outfit look polished and hot. There are so many ways to wear black vests, from a casual situation to formal, there are tons of ways to implement the black vest to any man's wardrobe. With that said, here are some different ways you men can wear the black vest.
The Casual Look

When it comes to going out to work or just roaming the city streets, a great casual black vest can do just the trick. Try a fitted tweed vest, for a great autumn look. Pairing a tweed vest with anything from a basic t-shirt and a pair of dark straight leg denim, can easily go from day to night. But if you want to dress it up a little, try a casual button down shirt underneath, probably one with a great plaid pattern to play up with the texture and a pair of really great jeans. Wearing a good casual black vest is the perfect way to dress up even the most basic outfits.
The Sporty Look
I love puffy vests. They're soft and really comfortable to move around in, especially on those really chilly winter days. Many people wear these fluffy nylon pieces with sweatpants or shorts - but can look sloppy and unpolished. So why not try to pair it with a checkered long-sleeved button down shirt and a great pair of straight leg chino pants. It is quite a preppy look, but it looks really put together and grown up; and I think that is really important for the modern man to look polished, even when showing off a sporty look.

We all need to go to at least one formal event in our lives. Whether it's a wedding, a prom, or a fancy event, we all have to put on our best suit and look fabulous. For men, a nice, tailored black vest can really add a touch of sophistication to a suit. Usually men's formal suits do come with the whole package - the blazer, slacks, tie and not to mention, the vest. It just looks so put together and classy when you add a nice black vest underneath a suit. So if you want to look just as handsome and polished as James Bond, then try to wear a black vest underneath a finely tailored suit - all the girls will love you for it.
