-Apply the art of Attraction Marketing. Working online is different than offline. Online you are just a name, not a person. You need to confirm yourself as a leader who someone would want to work with.
-Make yourself "visible" online. Have a blog with personal information about you and your family. Have a YouTube account where people can "see" who you are. Have a thorough profile on Facebook and make sure your personality shows through with social and professional pictures.
-Have a systematic process that you take leads through. No matter what online system you have, you need a separate streamlined sales funnel to weed out the tire kickers. You want to be working with qualified leads, and not wasting your precious time with looky-loos.
-Market, Market, Market! You want your exquisite website that took you so much time creating to be the hottest spot in town. Without effectively marketing your site (and to clarify, this does NOT mean your business replicated website) it will turn into the ghost town of yesteryear.
