The modern cars these days have a CD player in its basic model. This shows how essential a CD player has become. These players make journeys more entertaining and pleasant. Some problem in the player may cause great distress in the owner of the car. Many times the CD might get stuck in the player itself and causing it to either get damaged or not make it play. This may be due to some faulty condition in the ejection system of the CD player or may be due to warping as well. With little skill the CD can be removed from the player but might cause damage to the CD or the player. The CD can be removed with few sharp items and may cause little or no damage to the player or CD. The user may use needle nose pliers, some screwdrivers, and a paper clip. With the help of the above materials and following the instructions given below the CD can be removed.

In the first step, the CD is removed from the player manually using paper clip. Generally, there are small holes of the paper clip size below the opening meant for the insertion of the CD. The paper clip is inserted into this hole and pushed gently. Care should be taken to not damage the CD by pushing the paper clip with great force. When the paper clip is inserted the CD will be ejected. Sometimes this may not work, and the other steps can be followed.
In the second way, the CD is grabbed with the help of needle nosed pliers. This is done by putting the edge of the pliers in the player where the CD is inserted. The CD is then pulled gently.
The CD can be removed by this way even if it does not come with the help of paper clip. This step is not advisable if the CD cannot be duplicated. This step may cause damage to the CD therefore after this step is done the CD might have to be replaced.
If neither of the above steps works out, the CD can be removed by dissembling the entire CD player. The player is first unscrewed with the help of a screwdriver. The player can be removed from the dashboard if it is easy.
All the screws on the top and the bottom part are removed. On doing this the player can be parted and removed separately. This will make it possible to remove the CD. After removing the CD place the various parts together and put the screws back.
