After the connection is made tomtom device is turned on and its software is opened. Once connected the user is capable of downloading latest features from the website. It also allows the user to install other options that were previously not available in the device. The device is opened in ‘my computers’ option available in the computer. If some additional voices or display features have to be downloaded and installed the files are placed in the respective folders. Once the file transfer is done the software is closed and checked if the transfer is completed and eject it.
