South Beach is a luxurious fashion and clubbing destination in Miami Beach, Florida. It is world renowned for its beaches, nightlife and world class South Beach hotels.
South Beach is a district in Miami Beach from South Pointe Park to around 23rd Street. Miami Beach is served by two airports: Miami International Airport which is 10 miles west of Miami Beach and other airport is Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport which is 30 miles from Miami Beach.

South Beach is a beautiful tourist destination beside Miami Beach, Florida. It lies south of Indian Creek and is actually the first area of Miami Beach that was developed in the 1910s. Over the years, South Beach experienced various natural and artificial changes which greatly contributed to its booming Tourism industry. Now, with its active bar and club scene, it houses numerous South Beach hotels that range from budget to luxury accommodations.
Many tourists say that a South Beach vacation is actually expensive, especially with most of the 150 night clubs being very difficult to access if you re a tourist. In short, most clubs have very strict regulations which can be hard and expensive for those without connections . Access alone to such popular nightspots would cost you around $20 to $60 and this is still depending on the venue and event. The only good thing is that most South Beach hotels are near popular clubbing venues.
South Beach is gaining popularity for its ever changing and dynamic nightlife. It is even profiled for having one of the top ten of the world s legendary bars – B.E.D. Nightclub. Although most clubs are open on a seasonal basis, they are usually open up to 5 in the morning. For Ocean Drive, the steadfast tourist destinations are Mac s Club Deuce and The Clevelander. At current, the local government is thinking of ways to prevent the establishment of short lived clubbing venues.
Apart from the club scene, South Beach is also renowned for being one of the foremost locations in the world for fashion shoots. This makes the Miami area the model shoot capital of the US . From the months of October to March, South Beach hotels are at its peak due to the prime shooting season. The most popular place for these photo shoots are along Ocean Drive and its back streets.

Fontain Bleau Miami Beach – This hotel is considered as one of the most glamorous ocean front hotels of Miami Beach and South Beach. It lies along the Art Deco District and near the Convention Center. It has been featured in a lot of Hollywood Films.
The Strand Ocean Drive – This brand new all suite hotel offers a beautiful rooftop pool and an excellent location along Ocean Drive. Roms are equipped with stainless steel kitchen appliances, designer mosaic tiles, granite top counters and 300 thread count linens.
Savoy Hotel – This is an all suite upscale hotel with a beach area and adjoining pool. It offers one to two bedroom suites. The hotel also served as the backdrop of many music videos. It used to house Woody s – the famous nightclub owned by Ron Wood (guitarist of Rolling Stones).
