Capture Home Business Leads With Unique Lead Capture Pages

If you are the proud owner of a new home based business, you are probably feeling a combination of excitement about the possibilities your business offers and a bit of anxiety about whether you will succeed.
Congratulations, you’ve taken a step that most people will never do. In fact, you’ve taken a LEAP out of the comfort zone of trading your hours for dollars into the uncharted territory of working for relatively little in the beginning in order to earn (in time) exponentially higher amounts of money for your efforts.

That’s because an MLM company offers RESIDUAL income the larger your organization grows, the more money you will make, whether you bring them into the business, or the people you brought into it do, and so on throughout your “downline.”
Hopefully you have joined a team within your MLM company that offers extra training and resources. If not, there are many wonderful resources on the Internet to help you succeed, even if you are new to working online.
You can find a lot of “how to” video information on sites like YouTube.com. In fact, if you want to learn something new, I recommend you check that site out first by searching for a term like “how to _____” (just fill in the blank with what you want to learn) at both YouTube.com and Google.com.
Here’s a tip... On Google.com, after searching for your term and you get the page of results, notice a small link in the upper left corner area with a ‘plus’ sign next to it that says “Show options.” Click that link and you can then click on additional links for results from forums, blogs, additional video sites, and more. These results may be more productive than just the general search results.
Above all else, you need to start sharing your new home based business opportunity with as many people as possible.
Your company may teach you to make a list of everyone you’ve ever known and to start calling or emailing them to share your business and/or products with them.
Word of warning, especially if you’ve actually tried a few other home based business companies before this method can get you inducted into the “NFL Club” very quickly! (NFL stands for No Friends Left.)
What you really want to do is find people who are ALREADY LOOKING for what you have to offer a way to make money from home. Most likely, the majority of your family and friends do not have the entrepreneurial mindset to look for financial answers beyond an hourly or salaried J.O.B. (often, but not always, equivalent to “Just Over Broke”).
In all honesty, many people are happy with that. But so many others, like you and me, are miserable living that way OR, they have lost their hourly job and are having trouble finding another. Folks like these are searching for alternative answers and are READY to learn a new way of making a living.
The next big question is, how will you find these targeted leads people who are searching and asking for information about a home based business if you don’t personally know anyone like that?
One way is to purchase opportunity seeker lead lists from “lead vendors.” But, the best method is to generate your own leads by driving traffic to your own web site.
Most network marketing companies supply their representatives with a replicated company web site, and you might be tempted to try to promote that site as your first step in generating your own targeted MLM leads. Unfortunately, if you do that, you will never stick out from the crowd enough to attract the kind of attention to make your efforts worthwhile.
Why? Because hundreds, if not thousands of people are doing the very same thing, all with web sites identical to yours!
You need to find a way to stand out from the crowd!
The best way is to drive visitors to a different web site that you control, yourself a unique “lead capture page” that offers enough information about your company to create great interest PLUS some information about YOURSELF.
Why? So that your prospects understand that they are dealing with a real live person someone who looks like they could actually be a FRIEND not just some anonymous stranger who has a site identical to countless others.
I highly recommend that you include your photo on your unique lead capture page (even if you hate photos of yourself, like I do), as well as your phone and email so that people can contact you directly with questions.
Your lead capture page can also include a form for people to fill out for more info, and possibly even offer some valuable information like a relevant ebook when they fill out the form. The form may simply send a one time email to your business email address. Or, if you have an account with an autoresponder service, you can have the form connected with your database in order to build your list.
Many lead capture pages ONLY offer a form to fill out in order to capture the information to build a list, without including other ways to proceed to get more information immediately. I personally believe it’s best to offer as many methods of getting more info as possible linking through directly to your company site, PLUS a form to fill out, PLUS your contact info. That’s because many savvy Internet marketers have become jaded to giving out their email address freely. They prefer to be able to pick up the phone and talk to the business owner directly with their questions.
