The Skoda Roomster is of the multi utility vehicle class. The name of the vehicle is chosen as a combined word for roadster and road. The Skoda is a Czech republican automaker. Now owned by Volkswagen, Roomster was the first car launched after the Volkswagen bought it. It is a big automobile with five doors and also known to be a great car for leisure activities. The model of the Skoda Roomster was launched in motor show in Geneva in the year 2006. The parts of the car were assembled in many of its plants spread all over Czech Republic. Simultaneously Skoda Praktik was also launched. It was a version of Roomster but with two doors and two seats. The Praktik is also known to be a light weight vehicle.

The rear seat can accommodate nearly three passengers out of which the centre one is narrow to be comfortable and the other two seats are difficult to move. The interior is considered to be made of cheap materials. The engines are also proven to be noisy at high speed and make it a relatively poor choice for the people to consider it an option although it has decent boot space and airy interiors.
