If you’re a person who loves to sing and your passion is music but the problem is you don’t have a voice teacher yet, probably you may find it very hard to choose what song is best for you. Like for example if you choose the songs of Mariah Carey, for sure you will find it hard to sing it because her songs are way too hard for beginners like you. For you to be able to learn to sing, i compiled a list of songs that is best for beginners to like you.
The songs that i compiled below are advantage for students who are still learning to sing. I choose these songs because of the following criteria: not too high notes, just enough length of phrases in their lyrics, the melody is memorable, rhythm is straight forward, absence of intervals or awkward leaps, and in English language.

If you have observed some of the songs are traditional, it is because traditional songs are simple and without a big range that is why they are a good choice for those who are still beginning to learn a song. Learn to practice these songs and take time to memorize the lyrics and learn the notes and pitches. Once you have mastered these simple songs, you can try more complicated songs and be familiar with them. You can easily find a lot of traditional songs for you to practice, just search in the internet and start to learn.
Another kind of song that is easy for beginners are the spiritual songs. If you have observed, a lot of spiritual songs are easy to follow, meaning you can easily sing them, it is because of the following reason: their beat is not that fast, the pitch and notes are just enough not too high and not too low, and the best of all is that you can sing it with your heart. Spiritual songs are best for people who are still beginning to learn to sing because the melody is soothing to the soul.
For you to be able to learn to sing fast, you should take time to practice and take a lot of effort to improve in your passion. No matter what type of song you are going to sing, the most important thing is that you love what you are doing and this is your foundation in learning fast.
