Control the conversation by asking pointed open-ended questions that will make the prospect verbalize out loud what they are looking for. Once you have learned this significant information, acknowledge it by repeating it back to them and then show them how you can fill their need. You can not be the only one talking, you will never learn their "Why", and they will feel like you are trying to sell them - and no one wants that.
The fourth concept is Duplication. Duplication is fundamental for residual income. You may be the best closer your company has seen, but if you cannot duplicate your efforts, you will not have MLM income, you will have a personal JOB. A person is not duplicatable, a system is. Make sure you have a simple system that even a ten year old could follow. If you have a simple system in place, you will have duplication.
The fifth concept is Training. The MLM industry is the only industry where peoplethink they can succeed without taking time to train. Any new job a person takes will require them to complete training. Training could include classes, training seminars, or shadowing a current employee. The network marketing industry is no different. Training makes successful business owners. Training is the most important task a new person in MLM should do - not talk to everyone they know like most are told upon entering.
