We live in a world where there is no room for mistakes, the rat race to be the best in everything you do is having a huge toll on the human mind. Whenever you notice sudden behavioral changes in your spouse that does not seem to go away, ask him/her if they are stressed out. As a spouse, your duty is to mitigate the reason why your other half is stressed out. The most important way to battle the stress in your partner is to find out the reason, if it is something at the workplace or in your home, you should try to fix the problem as soon as possible. Fixing the problem may also include giving your partner a completely new viewpoint at the subject so that they can come to terms with the facts of life.
Lots of rest: A stressed out individual needs to rest a bit, so if your partner is a workaholic, then you should force them to take a leave for a few days. In fact, it will be a great idea to go on a nice holiday together so that they can unwind from the stress.

Time management: Time management is very important so make sure your partner does not spend too much time in the workplace and gets time to unwind at the comfort of their home. Music is a great stress reliever, so spend a part of day listening to music. If you have kids, it is necessary that they get enough time with your stressed out spouse.
Exercise: Manage the routine of your partner so that they get a good dose of exercise on a daily basis. Exercising everyday makes up for all the negative emotions building up in the mind, it helps people battle out stress in a constructive fashion. A good amount of yoga in the morning will give them a great start for the day. Cardio workouts are also a nice way to get rid of the excessive weight gain during the stress months, they will help rejuvenate the body and revitalize the system. It is your duty to make certain that your partner sticks to the workout regimen and does not give up within the first few weeks; this can be accomplished by setting up small goal for each and every week. Try to make the goals a bit achievable so that whenever they achieve them they can get a boost in confidence.
If you want your spouse to get a fresh start on life, a nice idea would be to reshuffle the dιcor of your home and make it look a bit different, more vibrant perhaps. A little amount of refreshing change in the personal life can help you get rid of even the strongest stress related issues.
